The New Chapter for Pharo Bulls.

IMPORTANT UPDATE – NEW NAME, SAME PHILOSOPHY AND PRINCIPLES

Pharo Bulls is now FURRACABAD ANGUS

FURRACABAD ANGUS

We are excited to share with you this important update - Pharo Bulls / PCA Bulls / Pharo Cattle Australia has officially rebranded and will now be known as FURRACABAD ANGUS.

This change reflects our commitment to growing and strengthening our independent identity within the Angus seedstock industry while remaining true to the philosophies and principles that have guided our program from the very beginning - focusing on functional, efficient and profitable cattle that thrive in real world grazing systems.

What This Change Means
 New Identity, Same Vision
While our name has changed, our core focus has not. FURRACABAD ANGUS will continue to build on the strong foundation laid under our relationship with Pharo Cattle Company and Kit Pharo.

 Commitment to Breeding Principles
We remain dedicated to breeding cattle that are efficient, fertile, functional, and profitable for commercial beef producers shaped by the unique needs of Australian grazing businesses and the challenges they face. Our program continues to emphasise maternal strength, structural soundness, adaptability, and long-term sustainability.

 Unchanged Philosophy
Our philosophy of Practical, Balanced, and Commercially Relevant cattle selection remains at the heart of everything we do. We believe in breeding cattle that work where it matters most, the paddock, not on paper, and we will continue to apply Kit Pharo’s breeding and selection philosophies, use Pharo genetics as well as other complementary and appropriate genetics.

 Future Focus
As FURRACABAD ANGUS, we are looking forward to carrying these principles into the future with renewed energy and focus and a clearer identity. This includes continuing to provide you with genetics that meet your needs which support your business success.

What Stays the Same
• Our breeding direction and cattle philosophies and principles.
• Our dedication to client service and long-term relationships.
• Our commitment to practical, profitable Angus, Red Angus and Angus / Mashona cross cattle.

What’s New
• A refreshed name and brand identity that reflects where we are headed.
• Stronger recognition of our place in the Australian Angus seedstock industry.

We want to thank you for your support and confidence over the years. Your trust in our cattle and program means everything to us. As we move forward under the FURRACABAD ANGUS name, we are excited to continue working with you and supporting your operations with genetics that perform in the real world.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Warm regards,
The FURRACABAD ANGUS Team

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe that it is possible to produce from moderate size cows, steers that can be profitably fattened on grass or in a feedlot.

ABOUT US

Over the last 30 years the Bull Breeding industry has progressively increased the size of their cattle on the assumption that bigger is better and bigger animals generate more profit. The questions we asked and have found answers to - are our breeding cows getting too big with reduced fertility, consuming too much feed, reducing our carrying capacity, reducing our calf weaning weight to cow weight percentage and thereby, most importantly, reducing our profitability, Our experience says the answer to each of these questions is resounding YES.
